Field Trip!!!

So last Thursday and Friday my class went to the Denver Zoo and Aquarium. At the zoo we were split in three groups. We had a picture scavenger hunt, but we were too lazy to take pictures and wonder aimlessly around the zoo trying to find specific animals. So we just road the carousel and the baby train that went ten miles per hour. It was really fun, but I was frozen to the bone by the time we left the zoo.
When we got to the aquarium it was lightly snowing/raining. As a class without the teachers we ate at the most amazing restaurant ever. We got t-shirts after dinner, talked about the rules, and went on another scavenger hunt. I had a blast! Lights were out at 10:30, but my friends and I didn't go to bed until after midnight. As the night flew by and my back started aching from the hard floor I was sleeping on, I watched sharks swim carelessly and fish fall into slumber for the night in the coral reefs.
Getting up the next morning wasn't a problem, but I was as tired as a bear in hibernating. We Fed fish after a yummy breakfast. We left for school around nine. I got car sick, thought I forgot my pillow, and ate a bunch of junk food (which didn't help the car sickness). After we were back at school for a few hours we had lunch and my friend gave me a bruise on my calf. It hurt. I got a prize for doing nothing and went home to parents that asked way too many questions.
I think my over-all trip was exciting and some things were unexpected.
